Senior Manager - Supply Chain/Warehouse Management - IIM/ISB/MDI/FMS (10-14 yrs)
About the Role
This person will be responsible for driving an effective and efficient end-to-end supply chain & logistics system for our entire range of Noise products where he will lead and direct all facets of supply chain management including Procurement, Operations and Planning, Logistics, Material Management for the Business.
As a leader, the role would involve team management, and channeling the team towards sharper business delivery, while ensuring due coaching for the development of the team members
Roles & Responsibilities
- Create and meet Supply Chain metrics and KPIs outlined in the Annual Operating Plan. Set up robust, agile, and efficient supply chain processes and systems to streamline the value chain between product planning, warehousing and logistics operations leading to operational excellence and profitability.
- Build excellence in planning, storage and movement of materials, goods, and products to ensure their availability at the right time, right place, right cost and of right quality.
- Create and implement best practice of supply chain principles, policies, and processes across the organization in alignment with organizational goals
- Management of Warehouses which includes:
1. Raw materials, packaging materials and finished goods related to plant while ensuring compliance with all statutory requirements and internal quality /safety standards.
2. Inventory Management - tracking /monitoring inventory & its storage, identifying and disposal of scrap & redundant inventory.
3. Managing smooth flow of incoming and outgoing materials from/to warehouses and driving adherence to target service levels.
4. Guide all warehousing & logistics operations especially in the context of pivoting towards Direct to Consumer digital / e-commerce go to market model.
- Procurement: managing procurement of all materials for production and maintenance of the plant
Manage continuous improvement of total Supply Chain cost
- Developing KPIs for self and team to achieve Organisational deliverables
- Lead, guide, train and motivate a team which will execute buying and merchandising, warehousing, logistics, quality control, sales & operation planning.
Experience Required
- 10-12 years of Logistics/Supply Chain experience in a start-up / FMCG Organisation / Logistics Organisation with MBA from top-tier institutes.
- In depth knowledge of end-to-end supply chain processes related best practices
- Experience and knowledge of latest trends and trends in inventory planning and management, forecasting, warehouse network, Supplier Performance Monitoring, transportation operations, SOP, Compliances and information techniques necessary for the effective monitoring of Supply Chain functions
- Excellent analytical and negotiation skills are required.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Ability to translate strategies into execution plans and take them to completion.
