Senior Manager - Supply Chain Transformation - FMCG (7-15 yrs)

JOB PURPOSE:

Drive supply chain transformation (significant improvement in business KPIs) through implementation of right technology, systems and processes, largely focusing on manufacturing and warehousing. The role requires identification of the transformation & digitalization opportunity, preparation of the business case, partner identification, evaluation & selection, implementation, roll out, capability building & change management at SCCs, driving adoption and business benefit realization in line with business case. It owns the end to end digital transformation agenda.

The individual will work on new and cutting edge technologies which are shaping the future of the supply chain. We are looking for a dynamic thought leader and action driver to drive strategic agenda of JFL supply chain.

4. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

- Identify and lead digital transformation initiatives primarily in the areas of manufacturing and warehousing. The objective is to improve productivity, cost optimization, strengthen human and food safety and drive other transformation initiatives. Some of the illustrative initiatives are mentioned below:

- Building end to end manufacturing digitalization strategy and implementation roadmap

- Energy management system (EMS) for automated data capture, visibility and optimization

- Condition based maintenance through AI / ML based triggers & outlier detection (for example based on parameters like current, vibration etc.)

- Face recognition based access control and automated productivity measurement

- Warehouse automation like bar coding, WMS, Put to light system etc.

- Dough line digitization

- Implementation and institutionalization of safety management system

- Automation of reporting through BI solution / Analytics Cloud

- Work with SCC / commissary teams to drive POCs, pilots and implementation of new initiatives

- Drive change management at SCCs / commissaries, build capability and ensure high adoption of systems

- Track and ensure realization of business benefits

- Meet experts / start-ups in the space of technology / innovation to identify application of emerging technology like industry 4.0, blockchain, beacons, control tower etc.

Create capability and technology enhancement roadmap for supply chain for 3-5 year horizon

- Corporate Engineering and logistics team

- Functional and department head

External:

- Business partners

6. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

- Qualification -B.E/ B.Tech, and MBA

- Experience - 7-9 years of experience in manufacturing and warehousing in the capacity of driving transformation / digitalization initiatives

- Excellent understanding and experience of working with technology - Industry 4.0, IOTs, manufacturing collaboration platform & control tower, RFID, WMS, Dashboards etc.

- Comfortable working in fast paced environment and ambiguous situations

- Ability to manage and influence multiple stakeholders across functions; Excellent collaborative skills

- Ability to drive change to ensure high adoption and benefit realization of new systems / technology

- Both thought leader and action driver

- Very good communication skills

- Excellent analytical skills and excellent proficiency in MS excel, Power point and Word
