Senior Manager - Strategy and Business Development from the Aerospace domain along with Engineering in Electronics and Communication, MBA from a top graduate program.

Job Overview : 

The ADM Strategy and Business Development manager supports to shape the ADM India portfolio, competitive strategy, develop technology roadmap, build strategic partnerships with external companies, government, standard bodies, and identify potential acquisitions or alliances.

Key Responsibilities : 

- Identify, track, and communicate key trends across industries, segments, and competitors that affect ADM India businesses in the short- and long-term.

- Conduct market research and deliver executive presentations to provide market context, portfolio and product line direction, and cost-benefit analysis of serving specific market segments.

- Facilitate development of annual strategic plans for the business

- Formulate specific go-to-market strategies for key emerging and adjacent markets

- Identify opportunities to improve business performance, including cost optimization and product portfolio modification. Identify growth opportunities and develop execution plans.

- Create cost models for businesses and product lines to assess profitability

- Collaborate with internal and external teams to leverage engineering and technology capability for developing innovative, new technology and products.

- Assess competencies needed, R and D, and engineering and finding partners to do R and D, developing new technology, product development and industrialization.

- Support technology partnerships through management of start up funds, investment, developing right profit models, participation in tech events and attracting right talent.

- Support the design and deployment of growth strategies and internal processes to drive consistent execution of growth and margin expansion initiatives

- Conduct research and analysis for potential acquisitions, joint-ventures, alliances, licensing relationships to fill the market needs and improve market share to meet India and global needs.

- Identify suppliers with whom we can work for contracts to accelerate India manufacturing footprints to fill gaps in our product footprints and competencies.

- Responsible to work closely with global accounts in India.

Key Qualifications, Experiences, Knowledge:

- Success in the role requires strong business acumen and strategic mindset, exceptional communication and presentation skills, ability to work seamlessly with leaders at multiple levels, and the skills and tenacity to achieve results without formal authority.

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering- Electronics and Communication

- Minimum 15-18 years of experience in electronics and semiconductor industry

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Science or Engineering from a leading institution is required. MBA from a top graduate program highly preferred

- 15+ years of total work experience with at least 5 years in strategy / business development role in diversified industrial company

- Additional experience in other roles (e.g., engineering, sales, operations,) at a high technology or diversified industrial company

- Experience in leading strategic projects and delivering results using cross-functional teams

- Proven strategic thinking and project execution to drive growth and value in a business

- Experience working in strategic projects and delivering results in cross-functional teams with limited guidance

- Strong analytical, problem solving skills and drive for results

- Solid understanding of and the ability to identify value creation levers
