Senior Manager - Strategy & Analytics - Chemical Conglomerate

Our client is one of the biggest names in the business segments of Fertilizers, Specialty Nutrients, Crop Protection and Retail. The company has an annual turnover of over 10,000 crores. Additionally, they were ranked among the top 20 best companies to work for by Business Today. They are currently looking to hire a Senior Manager - Strategy & Analytics to be based out of Hyderabad.

Reporting to and working closely with the Head of the business, you will be responsible for - 

- Making monthly and quarterly reports and presentations for the Board and tracking business performance, status on functional plans and strategic initiatives on a periodic basis while assisting the Business Head in internal SBU reviews

- Preparing business cases and investment proposals (CAPEX/M&A/New Products etc) and ensuring ratification by Board/MD/CFO

- Preparing the business plan - formulating long term strategy based on business objectives and aspirations, industry trends and competition

- Coordinating for seamless data and information flow within different functions in the business, building dashboards, templates for easy data capture, analyses and insights and acting as a repository of data for the business

- Acting as the Risk Manager for the business and also as a SPOC for all audit-related points for the business; working on specific functional projects (identified as per business requirements) to improve metrics and KPIs.

- Developing a network of industry contacts, investors, and advisory services that can be leveraged as needed and building a competition benchmarking framework

Ideally you are a Chemical/Production/Mechanical Engineer with an MBA degree and 8-15 years of experience either in industries such as: Chemicals/Petrochemicals/Oil & Gas/or have a mix of experience in Consultancy firms and the mentioned Industries. 

- You should have at least 5 years of experience in chemicals manufacturing out of your overall experience. 

- You should have experience of interacting with senior management and should have strong oral and written communication. 

- You should have excellent stakeholder management skills and interpersonal skills. 

- You should have strong analytic abilities (data handling, financial analysis, business acumen) and should be comfortable to work in a cross-functional environment.
