Job Description - This role is responsible to lead the Strategic Sourcing, Supply Chain Business Manager responsibilities in Direct and Indirect commodities. As Sr. Mgr, you will have an opportunity to work across organization on defining Supply Chain Strategies, developing an organization to leverage highest value, manage operations excellence and driving continues process improvement projects.

Our Client is a leading MNC in the Electrical/Electronics Manufacturing space and has a presence across 17+ countries. They are looking to hire a Senior Strategic Sourcing to be based out of Bangalore.

Description

Reporting into the Supply Chain Head and managing a team of 6+ people to take care of spend of 200 million dollars, you shall be responsible for:

- Leading the Strategic Sourcing at a global level in Direct and Indirect commodities

- Strategic Sourcing & Commodity Management. Establishing Strategic vision for the commodity, setting objectives supplier relationship to drive projects to achieve the objectives of global supply chain.

- Coordinating with finance/accounting on matters involving inventory, cost savings and cash flow management.

- Working with suppliers to ensure they have enough capacity to support our demand as well as supply continuity risk management plans.

- Ensuring Supplier Performance in on time delivery, Supplier capacity

- Defining and measuring metrics according to the annual operating plan objectives in connection with the supplier performance against these expectations assuring continuous supplier improvement and then driving team to highlight and close gaps to meet objectives

- Delivering of activities resulting in highest level of product and service quality as viewed through the eyes of our customers

- Working with Global Supply Chain team to develop the organizational capabilities required for future growth and take adequate steps to develop the skill and leadership qualities in the Supply Chain team.

Profile

Ideally you an engineer with atleast 15 years of overall experience in Supply Chain and atleast 10 years of relevant sourcing experience in industries such as Semiconductor, Electrical Equipment, Industrial Automation, Medical Devices, Precision Equipment and Construction Equipment with MNCs. You MUST have sourcing experience of both Direct ( Sheet Metal, Gases, Fabrication parts etc, Packaging) and Indirect category ( Factory Services). You should have managed a team of managers under you. You should demonstrate experience in strategic planning - setting vision and objectives, creating strategies, forecasting and budgeting. You should have great Analytical, Presentation, Negotiation and Communication skills. You should have excellent track record in your earlier professional stint and should be ready for the next challenging assignment
