Senior Manager - Strategic Sourcing - Raw Material Procurement - Chemicals/Oils (5-10 yrs)
- Sourcing & Development of components
- Handles global suppliers based out of Europe & India.
- Implement cost saving project.
- Negotiates & finalization of change management cost for parts & tools to support market changes.
- Implements resourcing action within European based supplier to optimize & maintain effective supply chain.
- Lead sourcing decision globally & Support global alignment on commodity strategy.
- Resolves & support audits on cost & payment released to suppliers.
- Identify & implement many cost reduction with lean process ideas & improves value chain across supplies.
- Estimate new models & set targets.
- Analyse the competitiveness among suppliers & select sourcing.
Skills Required: Strategic sourcing, Global sourcing, Vendor development, Raw materials Procurement, Supplier Assessment & selection, Direct & Indirect Purchase, Costing & Budgeting, Negotiation, Data Analysis, Supplier Performance Management, cost optimization, Regulatory Compliance Adherence
Qualification: MBA + Exposure to lean methodologies & Six Sigma,
Experience Required: 5 to 8 years' procurement experience in chemicals, oils, etc.
