Roles & Responsibilities :
- Establish, analyze and optimize the business's procurement strategy ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Partner with stakeholders, executive leaders and department heads to understand business needs. Then, establish requirements, scope and criteria for procurement projects.
- Manage vendor selection
- Lead initial market research and vendor profiles to help supplier selection.
- Use vendor management best practices through negotiation and technical requirements discussion.
- Sound knowledge of negotiation and cost-effective supply contracts.
- Conduct regular vendor performance evaluations and supplier risk assessments.
- Collect and interpret procurement data including cost analysis.
- Able to create cost estimates and forecasts.
- Strategic thinking and creative problem solving
- Willingness to travel to develop, promote, and maintain strategic sourcing relationships.
