Senior Manager - Special Situations Fund (3-5 yrs)
Our Client has a of rich experience in fund management expertise by consistently delivering value to its investors. They have a strong and proud lineage that traces back to a large Indian Bank along with a Joint Venture with one of the world's leading fund management companies.
Primary Responsibility:
The position will closely work with the Fund Manager and team and will be responsible for deal analysis, deal execution and monitoring performance of portfolio companies.
Responsibilities:
- Preliminary analysis of deals to determine its fit with the investment criteria of the Fund.
- Detailed analysis of past financial statements, markets and industry.
- Liaising with potential investee firms to understand the deal dynamics and risks.
- Preparation of information memorandum and detailed financial models for presentation to the IC
- Assisting in financial, legal & other due diligence undertaken for each potential investment.
- Assisting in the negotiation of deal terms, documentation & disbursement.
- Monitor portfolio companies on a regular basis including review of their operational performance and adherence to the investment case.
The ideal candidate should have:
- Minimum 3 years of prior work experience in a special situations environment.
- MBA from a Tier 1 Institute
- Strong analytical skills & financial modeling proficiency.
- The candidate should have excellent interpersonal skills, must sound confident, and possess strong written and oral communication skills.
