Sr. Manager - Sourcing under SCM

Location - Mumbai

Reports to - GM

Purpose of your Role :

- The Sr. Manager Sourcing is a position based in the SCM team and reporting to the Network Category Head.

- You will be based in Mumbai and will be responsible for below role.

- Managing supplier relations, RFP/RFQ and negotiating contracts, prices, timelines, etc.

- Knowledge of Ariba and SAP ERP will be an added advantage.

- Maintaining the supplier database, purchase records, and related documentation.

- Preparing cost estimates and managing budgets.

- Ensuring that all procured items meet the required quality standards and specifications.

You will be :

Purchasing Manager Requirements:

- Experience as a purchasing manager or in a similar position.

- Deep knowledge of inventory and supply chain management.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Strong critical thinking and negotiation skills.

- Strong planning and organizational skills.

- Ability to work independently.

- Proactive and hands-on, with strong business acumen and drive and determination to succeed.

You will be accountable for (Key Responsibilities) :

- Managing sourcing related to IOT, 5G and Mobility in Telecom network.

- Category expert with good domain knowledge.

- Responsible for end to end supply chain process starting from Source to procure to pay.

You have : (Qualification and experience)

- Degree in business administration, Engineering or a related field.

- Overall purchase experience of 10+ years with minimum 5 years of experience in Telecom industry managing key Mobility/IOT/5G vendors.

- Experience as a credible and capable adviser at multiple levels of an organization with strong business acumen together with business and industry experience.
