Senior Manager - Social Media - As a Sr. Social Media Manager at a client, you will be responsible for owning client communications, creating strategies, and executing these tactically for all our clients. - From conceptualization to execution, your work should blend best practices, winning strategies, storytelling, and visual innovation. - The ideal candidate will be able to translate business and marketing objectives into ideas that are clear, compelling, and exciting. - You are to provide direction and leadership to team members, execute company objectives, and partner with cross-functional departments. - You will also have an opportunity to lead a global team of social media specialists and analysts. - This is the right opportunity for a social media professional with strong B2B experience working with SMB / Mid Market B2B SaaS providers, and/or Manufacturing, hi-tech clients. - The candidate must have a strong track record of developing high-impact earned/organic social media campaigns, crafting breakthrough content, and working collaboratively and cross-functionally to lead social elements of integrated marketing, thought leadership, and brand initiatives. - The ideal candidate will be comfortable crafting and executing these ideas tactically. What you'll do : - Own client communications as a social media specialist and command the room with winning strategic and tactical inputs to help achieve client objectives. - Drive audience and engagement and growth across all owned/earned social channels to drive brand awareness, and establish our clients as leaders in their space. - Lead the development and execution of best-in-class earned social and community strategies and social aspects of integrated marketing and communications campaigns. - Manage the daily creation, publishing, and posting of content across all social platforms. - Lead social strategy development/provide social-related counsel for all product launches, collaborations, and special projects - Partner with marketing (content and demand generation), brand, and creative to create positive engagement and community management for clients, communities, and with influencers of interest. - Ideate and create social media initiatives across social platforms to enable clients and employees to become advocates of the brand - Maintain brand consistency across all social channels. - Support senior leaders in new client pitches. - Develop and maintain social media monitoring and community management, working closely with client sponsors to effectively manage community and customer engagement and response. - Create and distribute daily/weekly/monthly reporting on social media metrics, engagement, and recommendations to optimize the company's social presence; blend with other earned media metrics Skills and knowledge you should possess : - 10+ years of social media experience in strategy, execution, and reporting - 5+ years of Social Media experience in B2B technology, manufacturing, and software industry - Proven track record of successfully devising and executing creative online strategies and growing social media channels - Strong creative eye for content development and at the forefront of social trends and innovation - Passion for using video to communicate with and engage audiences - Possesses strong copywriting and video ideation skills - Able to work effectively with cross-functional teams - Experience developing channel-by-channel audiences, goals, and effective KPIs - Strong experience creating effective paid social strategies and executing these tactically to achieve objectives - Strong knowledge of other elements of marketing and communications (e.g., paid media, media relations) - Ability to multitask, organize, and prioritize work - Stay on top of the latest standards, processes, and trends in the visual design field Qualifications : - Requirements Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field Or 10+ years of experience as an IC and a social media SME - Ability to present strategy and tactics internally and to clients - Ability to collaborate with copywriters, graphic designers, brand & marketing teams - Ability to collect and interpret feedback - A well-rounded portfolio of client work, demonstrating a strong understanding of client objectives - Ability to critically communicate and persuade around social media concepts - Passion for the new; not satisfied with the status quo and always thinking of ways to improve - Ability to motivate and inspire top performance against assigned projects - Dynamic, creative personality, effective at engaging and influencing a variety of audiences - Must understand design & communications in multiple mediums - print, digital, mobile.
