- Creating, scheduling and publishing content across multiple social media channels;
- Being engaging, funny, responsive and of-the-moment to create viral and shareable moments;
- Using your platform knowledge and creative skills to create boundary-pushing, attention- grabbing social content using the latest affordances on each channel;
- Bring our brand to life in new, creative and innovative ways across our growing across multiple channels;
- Identify, onboard social media marketing specialists from other geographies to extend the brand reach;
- Work closely with stakeholders within the marketing team to ensure brand consistency;
- Collaborate with brand, legal, finance and other teams when necessary for approvals and risk mitigation;
- Invent and develop new content ideas, cutting-edge strategies, and campaigns to grow and engage our multiple social channels;
- Carry out campaigns from end-to-end, beginning with ideation and planning, all the way through execution;
- Calmly and carefully dealing with customer and tech issues, if needed;
- Must be able to understand where a follower's question or comment is coming from, address it appropriately, and provide a course of action or solution;
- Leverage weekly social media performance report learnings, to drive action and improvement;
- Create and test strategic approaches based on data, social listening, and market trends;
- Monitor industry activity and news, as well as social media visual and cultural trends;
- Use industry knowledge and experience to drive new endeavours, internal processes, and content creation that aligns with our brand strategy.
- Bachelor's degree from a recognised University;
- 7+ years professional experience in marketing, creative strategy, branding, or other relevant fields;
- 3+ years of experience in high-profile social media marketing roles;
- A proven track record of creative projects displaying non-linear thinking;
- Experimented with various social media platforms and know how to grow an organic following;
- Experience in a regulated environment as well as financial tech, crypto or traditional financial services;
- A deep understanding of Internet user behavior, trends, and viral contents;
- Acute comprehension of the creator space and an appetite to collaborate with external partners and service providers;
- An understanding of what engaging content looks like and can develop and execute on strategies;
- Shown ability to multi-task and run multiple projects while paying strict attention to detail;
- The ability to adapt to new situations quickly and think on your feet;
- Substantive social media experience either at a high-growth startup, highly-engaging consumer brand or viral publisher;
- Successfully implemented social media marketing campaigns (credentials to prove this) or operated in a limited conceptual space;
- Strong copywriting and reviewing skills;
- Experience writing creative and engaging content;
- Well organised and can keep cool when working to tight deadlines;

- Knowledge of social media management applications, ie; Salesforce, HootSuite;
- Working knowledge of Canva, Figma, Lightroom or similar.
