JOB DESCRIPTION :

Job Title : Sr. Manager - SAP/PP

Primary Duties and Responsibilities :

- Knowledge of SAP Production planning and SAP Material management

- Implementation of JDA, Anaplan or IBP

- Should have hand on experience in data field matching between different software and planning software

- Should have worked on replenishment

- Requirement understanding of Make to order, Make to stock

- Should have implemented end to end projects for planning

- Vendor Management

Specialized Knowledge :

- Supply & Demand Planning Manager ensures the consistency & development in forecasting/planning methodology and tools as well as coaches and develops his/her team.


- Make sure the Integrated Business Planning Systems e. g Advanced S&OP process is running properly, with the right contribution and buy-in from all the functions involved


- Animate the Demand planning process on short, mid and long-term horizons.

- Ensure the collaboration of all necessary functions to the consensus building.


- Implement & improve the overall planning process/tools for smooth functioning of the business


- Should be able to integrate JDA/ IBP in system

- Configure the software for Preparing of production plans based on replenishment strategy, considering last 30 days sales trend, seasonality, promotional offers, capacity considerations.


- Configure and implement software to Provide Supply Visibility from the available capacities and share the final Plan with Sales/Marketing

Configuration of MRP Planning :


- Inventory control; norm setting & monitoring, including Safety Stocks


- Issuing Material Requirement Planning (MRP) basis production plans to procurement operations on regular basis


- Streamline material planning and optimal inventory holding. A substantial part of the role would be to setup strong systems and processes in place for Planning and ensure that we are able to scale up, as we grow and invest in the business as envisaged in the very near future.
