Senior Manager - Sales & Marketing - Domestic & International - Components & Equipment Manufacturer (6-15 yrs)

We have an opening for a Senior Sales Manager position for Domestic & International Sales & Marketing for Hyderabad Location.

About Client :


- Develop and Manufacture Components and Equipment for Aerospace, Ball Screws, Oil & Energy Sectors.supplies critical indigenously developed systems for India's space and nuclear programs

- BE (Mech); minimum 6 -15 years of experience in a comparable industry

- preferably with an MBA

Relevant Experience :


- Should have sold highly technical products & services to (predominantly to) Indian PSU & private sector customers engaged in Defence, Aerospace, Automobile etc

- Should have demonstrated acquisition of repeat orders from existing customers

- Should have managed an order pipeline of at least Rs 150 Crores at any time with at least 40% (by volume & value) as repeat orders

Brief Job Profile :

Focus market segments - nuclear, aerospace (including satellites), defense, oil & gas, auto, exports

Purpose of the Role :

- Develop an effective - manufacturing marketing- strategy or framework to tap into problems customers are trying to solve

- Align BD efforts (marketing, communication, etc) to address multiple stake-holders; (this includes upgrading existing digital assets and creating new ones)

Strategic Roles :

- Ensure achievement of order pipeline as per targets aligned to DNA of Organization, aligned to profit margins targeted

Operational Roles :

- Generate Leads

- Through research identify right prospects; convert prospects into bona fide leads

- Meet and engage with customers to understand needs of equipment and/or technology to meet their business needs;

Lead Nurturing :

- Nurture the lead through customer's procurement cycle to move the prospect to finality

- Work with in-house experts to engage with different levels in customer end

Tactical Roles :

- Establish relationships with key decision-makers in the Ministry of Defence & obtain approvals from various Government agencies such as Cemilac, DGAQA and MSQAA.
