Senior Manager - Sales - Construction Chemical Firm

We are looking for a dynamic Sales person who has experience in Construction Chemicals OR Chemical Sales (Plaster, Render, Tile Adhesive, Grouts, Water Proofing Slurries, Concrete Protection and Renovation, Insulation and Finishing Systems, and Others)

Responsibilities:

- Manage a set number of Key Accounts from engagement on projects

- Assist sales & marketing team in product promotion, presentations to Architects, consultants& builders.

- Support Sales team on any contracts s with Key Accounts across the region.

- Produce and deliver such product training presentations as may be required by customers.

- Achieve targets set based on Key Account turnover including quotations, product sales, project leads and Logistics agreements.

- Pursue sales leads and achieve the personal sales objectives with the product range of the assigned products in the assigned territory with complete collections of all receivables.

- Support business development and customer management by initially identifying potential customers, provision of updated market intelligence to supervisor/team,

- Identify and attract new customers (Including Distributors), and interact with corresponding process and product developers of the potential customers leading to profitable future business.

- Continuously increase market intelligence and update customer and competitor data and apply the overall sales process, aiming to meet or exceed sales targets.

- Negotiate and close deals or contracts with customers and provide operational guidance and support to the relevant functional departments to ensure implementation.

- Explore and appoint distributors and applicators as required to ensure smooth sales and operations and ensure market coverage

- Provide accurate sales forecast, supporting efficient planning of products and services.

Experience:

- Education: Civil Engineering graduate and Management Graduate in Marketing (desired).

- Working Experience: 8 years in Construction Chemicals sales

- Proven experience relating to technical aspects of the construction industry
