Senior Manager - Risk & Compliance - BPO (15-18 yrs)

This oppurtunity is with a reputed BPO client for the role of Sr Mgr Risk & Compliance.

Position Summary:

Business Risk and compliance individual is responsible for compliance throughout the organization. Periodically conduct audits with different verticals and function leads. Cognizant of risk appetite and escalate to appropriate stake holders. Identify gaps/Risks and share recommendations for improvements & risk mitigation.

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned)

1) Developing the annual Risk based compliance work plan that reflects the organizations highest Business & Financial risks that will be monitored by the compliance function as determined by conducting a mandatory annual risk assessment approach.

2) Conduct periodical / ad hoc compliance audits with various departments (Finance, Procurement, Facility HR, IT, Operations & other verticals) and report Risks or improvement suggestions to senior management

3) Independently investigating and acting on matters related to high risk business impact

4) Overseeing and monitoring the implementation of the compliance program

5) Engage in proactive identification and remediation of business risks

6) Maintaining current knowledge of relevant laws and regulations and advice stakeholder

7) Developing materials at an organizational level for distribution to all employees to enhance awareness of compliance activities

8) Coordinating internal compliance review and monitoring activities, including periodic reviews with stakeholders

9) Provide an annual holistic opinion on the effectiveness and adequacy of risk management, control, and governance processes

10) Own and ensure timely submission of all deliverables

11) Providing guidance to the ELT, senior management on compliance

Essential Qualification and Work Experience:

- 15+ years

- Banking/financial institution exposure preferred

- Experience in auditing business processes & Functions for Risk & compliance in larger organizations

- Experience in auditing Senior management team across verticals & Functions

- Graduate/Post Graduate from reputed university

- Self-driven determined and confidence

- Maintaining confidentiality of data and audit program

- Meticulous attention to details

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work with colleagues from a wide range of professional backgrounds and contribute for achieving common goals

- Ability to work under pressure

- Analytical bent of mind with problem solving approach

- Excellent communication and email etiquette skills

- Ability to give clear advice, at an operational and senior management basis observations

Essential Technical Skills:

- Sound working knowledge of MS office applications [Excel, Word, Visio, PPT]
