Senior Manager - Revenue & Finance - Insurance

JOB DESCRIPTION

Finance and Accounts:

- Accounting and Taxation (Direct and Indirect both) in relation to Revenue

- Review of Revenue Agreements

- Forecast - Preparation and finalization of Revenue Business Plan and weekly/ monthly /quarterly /yearly MIS. Providing operational business intelligence and analysis around the received forecast across Businesses.

- Analysis and Reporting - Monitoring Revenue Budgets and Variance Analysis on regular intervals. monthly Revenue Forecast and Margins for separate businesses and locations and Consolidation at various Company Levels and overall for the Group.

- Delivery - Preparation of dashboard for the weekly / monthly Operation review. Ensuring deliverables of the team are closed on time with 100% accuracy.

- Administering financial statements including profit & loss accounts, age-wise accounts receivables statements and balance sheets Accounts.

- Ensuring proper control over AR processing and Process Control / Provisioning / Audits /Reconciliation and team management & operational issues.

- Relationship management with various functions & reaches out on solution on day to day operational issues.

- Responsible to create a culture of strong process reviews in Accounts Payable to ensure and follow up on open items including invoices pending for approvals, invoices pending for payments, robust new supplier set-up process, monitoring key mitigating controls in place.

- Taking care of Key Debtor account reconciliation (Debtor) and balance confirmation.

- Calculation of Employee Incentive working basis the defined structure & criteria.

Revenue : 

- Responsible for revenue calculation.

- Ensuring revenue reconciliation with Insurers based on trackers received.

- Ensure correct & timely billing, tracking unbilled revenue & collections (inc R&R) and ensuring timely realization of revenue

- RCA of attribution losses, raising query to Insurers and getting them resolved in timely manner

- Tracking renewals and analyzing RCA for renewals not booked

- Report on weekly & monthly basis Revenue MIS on pre-defined metrices

- Ensuring data accuracy in system

- Identifying system issues and working closely with finance controller to resolve the same in given timeline

- Intra departmental coordination with Sales, Operations and Tech to complete the given tasks.

- Suggest and implementation of system to achieve above mentioned objectives in close coordination with Finance Controller

SKILLS & EXPERTISE: 

- Strong knowledge of Data Analysis, preferably having SQL Query (Including Data Extraction from SQL Data base via self-made query).

- Expertise of MS Excel, MIS reporting, preferably have the exposure of VBA & worked on Tableau.

- Go getter attitude, Problem Solver, Team handling experience, Hardworking and result oriented, able to deliver in the given time frame having sharp learning curve.
