Position summary (Key requirements/Purpose of the job) :


- Managing internal stakeholders (Product, Finance, Networks etc.) for various regulatory compliance related issues; provide regulatory inputs on new products/services to ensure compliance to DoT/TRAI Regulations/Directions;


- Representing the company and interacting on its behalf with various Government Organizations like DoT, WPC, TRAI, etc. for any approvals/representation; Managing and maintaining the relationships with relevant Officers in all these aforesaid Govt. Departments and the Regulato with regard to UL-VNO License (All Services);

- Creating new resources and relationships for managing the advocacy works; Monitoring the progress of various issues in DoT, TRAI, MIB & Other Govt. Organizations and taking corrective action in case of adversity and representing the organization view point in various Government/non-Government Forums/Organizations. Preparation of response to various Consultation Papers of TRAI and in the Regulatory position papers and advising various Business Units in respect of regulatory submissions in WPC and DoT.

Major Responsibilities :

- Ensuring that new licensed products/services are compliant to Regulatory Conditions,

- Prepare responses to Policy Consultation Papers and DoT/TRAI notices, representation to DoT/TRAI on various ongoing issues.

- Prepare applications for spectrum allocation, new licenses and for renewal of existing licenses, provide notes/presentation for management/ industry association on key regulatory issues; provide regulatory inputs on key business projects.

- Interacting with DoT, WPC, TRAI, MIB, DOS, MHA, Designated Security Agencies for expediting the approvals wherever required.

- Monitoring the progress of critical cases in Designated Security Agencies to avoid any adverse action by taking appropriate corrective action wherever required; Protecting the interest of the company in various Ministries of the Government of India as well as before TRAI and the Designated Security Agencies.

- Will coordinate with the Nodal Officer and ensure all licensing compliances relating to UL-VNO (All Services) license.

- Interface with Internal stakeholders and would be responsible for maintaining & uploading requiste information on various Government portals.

- Responsible for review and correction in various internal processes relating to compliances on periodic basis with internal stakeholders for smooth operations.

- Handle technical and security related annual license inspections/audits carried out by DOT LSA Field units for UL-VNO (All Services) license.

- Excellent Working Relationship with Govt. offices /DOT LSA field units and would also be responsible for supporting internal customers for any external help from LSAs/DoT/WPC/TRAI.
