Senior Manager - Regulatory & Compliance - FinTech/NBFC - CS/LLB (8-12 yrs)

- Experience in the Payments/ NBFC industry or in Fintech start-ups

Requirements:

- 8+ years of experience in legal and compliance function

Education Qualification - CS / LLB

- Experience in the Banking & NBFC industry or in Fintech start-ups

- Thorough knowledge on corporate laws, banking laws, secretarial standards, etc.

- Should have significant prior experience in dealing with external stakeholders such as auditors, consultants etc.

- In depth understanding of compliance needs in Fintech industry

- Overall good legal and compliance knowledge (companies Act, Competition Act, FDI regulations, RBI regulations, other content & IP related Act).

- Develop and oversee the systems that ensure the company complies with all applicable codes, in addition to its legal and statutory requirements.

- Quarterly monitoring and review of all the compliances applicable to the Companies.

- Filing of returns and forms as needed under the regulations including those required under the Companies Act, RBI regulations applicable to Fintech business / NBFCs and any other regulations applicable to Company's business.

- Act as a custodian of corporate records, statutory books and registers and maintain them in an organized manner.

- Evaluating all existing & new business opportunities along with business teams from legal and regulatory perspective with clear understanding of legal implications of all applicable acts like companies Act, Competition Act, FDI regulations, RBI regulations, other content & IP related Act etc.

- Reporting to management regarding key areas concerning the risk of business with reference to Statutory compliance and recommendations to mitigate the same.

- To maintain necessary policies required under various regulations/ business purposes and ensure their periodic review and updation.

- Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders, provide advice and guidance to the different teams relating to current & emerging legal and compliance issues and associated risk to the business

- Leverage partnership with external legal counsels, advisors, compliance partners time to time basis
