We have an urgent role with one of the biggest consumer goods mnc at gurgaon.

Role : Regional Tax Manager (Female)

Salary : Upto 32 lacs

Profile :

Role : Senior Manager - Taxation

Reports to: Regional Finance Head and Head of Taxation

Location :

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE : 


The role is responsible to provide support to Regional Finance Head - South and Head of Taxation on Taxation matters. Work comprising of handling GST and other indirect tax queries, tax compliance, indirect tax litigations

TYPICAL ROLE REQUIREMENTS

Qualification : Chartered Accountant - CA / Cost Accountant - CMA

Knowledge & skills :

- Strong domain knowledge specifically on matters pertaining to indirect taxation especially GST, Excise, VAT and service tax.

- Working knowledge of customs/TP and withholding taxes

- Ability to communicate and translate tax knowledge to business situations

1. Tax Operations :

Litigation support :

- Prepare reply to GST audit queries, SCN, appeal; Appear before tax authorities

In-house tax advisory :

- Evaluate tax implication on specific transactions / agreements

- Review of agreements, invoices, POs to identify tax implication

- Response to business queries on GST HSN, SAC, rate of tax etc.,

- Conduct internal GST training; Send periodic tax update

- Evaluate cases to identify contingent liability or provision requirement and update the list of indirect tax cases

- Support Statutory audit and Tax audit Compliance

- Co-ordinate with manufacturing units to ensure compliance with state excise, VAT and other indirect taxes

- Create tax data warehouse, MIS and dashboard to provide visibility to management

- Ensure accurate and timely tax compliance
