Job Description -


- Managing overall Purchase activities including material planning, sourcing of material for production facilities, budgeting, vendor development, policy setting, issuing AMC and Commercial closeout

- Assessing performance of the vendors based on various criterions such as percentage for rejections, financial Capabilities, pricing, timely delivery, credit terms every quarterly.

- Developing budgets for procurement and sourcing of materials for ensuring optimum utilization of materials and maximum cost savings and purchase operations of raw material from global sources including cost estimation and contract negotiations

- Designing, developing & communicating strategies, plans, timelines to stakeholders and vendors to meet their respective targets & timelines within budget

- Possess excellent analytical skills to convert insights & data in to actionable items/innovative solutions across organization (Procurement, Quality, Warehousing & so on)

- Identifying and developing potential vendors (locally & globally) for the right sourcing, achieving cost effective purchases of raw materials

- Implementing vendor partnership programs that provide competitive advantage while ensuring premium quality supply and a reduction of total cost of ownership

- Delivering better fulfillment and profitability through cost reductions & quality improvements leveraging design & implementation of Procurement, Operations, Order Fulfillment Efficiency, Departments KPIs & so on

- Analyze trend and market conditions for the present and future pricing, availability and lead time and capacity of goods and services

- Guiding team for imparting knowledge about organizational requirements and helping them in improving their performance
