Senior Manager - Purchase - Energy Business

Position : Sr Manager - Purchase ( B & C class)

 Qualification : BE - Mechanical

Experience : Total exp. 12 Years. Industry specific 6-7 years

Reporting to : SCM Head

Job Purpose :

It is contributing almost 15 % of Nacelle & Hub components cost, However the no of items appx 900 per turbine, hence very important to align with suppliers, negotiate & get the material in line with company requirements

Job Responsibilities :

- Develop, coordinate and implement sourcing strategies.

- Negotiate for B & C class components on pricing, payment terms.

- Conduct pre-qualifications and supplier audits

- Achieve the optimum combination of quality, delivery, and price

- Work with other departments such as Engineering, Quality and Manufacturing Plant, etc.

- Contribute actively in the development of B & C class component along with Technology & Quality

- Inventory optimization.
