Senior Manager Purchase
1. Cost reduction of consumables
2. Monitoring local purchase.
3. Due diligence of existing vendors and development of new vendors.
4. To audit suppliers periodically and rate them based on their performance.
5. To meet regular suppliers and keep updated about new trends in the industry.
6. To discuss with seniors and suggest rectification/modification for the smooth operation of the plant.
7. To use all available sources of market trends that may have an effect on prices of lead items and make recommendations for action to the HOD.
8. To minimize packing, transport, and conveyance expenses.
9. To possess knowledge of materials and service costs and maintain accurate, up-to-date cost records.
10. To maintain, revaluate and expand reliable sources of supply and secondary sources as a backup to ensure continued production.
