Senior Manager - Purchase - Chemical Manufacturer Company

Job Description:

- Handling Purchase team.

- Handling procurement of raw materials (Chemical, solvents, fine chemicals & intermediates), Packing material including fibre, plastic, metal drums, glass bottles etc.engineering items for repair & maintenance, plant & machinery procurement for existing & expansion activity.

- Responsible for inventory control, New vendor development and cost reduction.

- Must be well versed with global purchasing (Sourcing) of raw material, chemical, plant & machinery for chemical factory.

- Must have total exposure of total imports, adv. license etc

- Working experience of SAP is must

- Co-ordination with Stores, Production & Marketing dept. by proper material planning, scheduling & timely follow up with vendors for PO execution.

- Review Open PO and PR, Process mapping

- Negotiation with vendors, involved in full process of from RFQ, quotations, comparing the quotation techno commercially, negotiation and finalization of contract to pay ( i.e Procure to Pay)
