Position : Senior Manager - Purchase ( Bakery Chain ) Location : Mumbai Education : Any UG/ PG/ MBA Experience : 5-7 years Compensation : Commensurate with education and experience Role Responsibilities and Desired Profile : 1. Key Responsibilities: This position will report to the CEO. Candidate will be responsible for Procurement of Raw, Packaging and all incidental materials . Primary responsibility is to procure all the above materials on time , within the budgeted cost and Quantity. Responsible to control inventory of all the above procurement within the norms . This role also has the responsibility to manage the Warehousing (RM/PM Stores operations) which means Timely and Accurate GRN of goods received, accurate issuing of goods to the production floor and maintaining inventory accuracy at the store. This role also has the responsibility to drive cost reduction for all materials through Raw Material Substitution, Developing alternate vendors, negotiating better costs with current vendors. Number of people to be managed: 4 - Stores Manager, Stores Assistant, Stores Office Boy, Asst Manager - Purchase 2. Key Accountabilities: Manage Purchase and Stores Team. Conduct Daily Briefs and Debrief sessions with the teams. - Liase with suppliers, manufacturers for procurement and with internal departments for Purchase requisitions. Maintain Price Commodity Tracker. Track, measure and analyze company expenditures, Prepare Cost estimates and budgets. - Ensure effective implementation of Order Management and Material Management. Liase with Finance Team on - Purchase Order Management and Material Management. Ensure all inventory Levels - Raw Materials and Finished goods are maintained at all company Deployments. Ensure effective implementation of Applicable SOPs related to Purchase, Stores and Inventory Management. Enter into Contracts with suppliers and ensure prices charged are consistent. - Prepare Payment Plans for Vendors as per individual credit terms. Manage Backend of Barometer Software. Manage Backend of POS Software. Check the cost of sales in all F&B outlets and ensure that the costs are within budget. Cost all Menu Item Recipes and ensure food & non food cost levels are maintained as per set budgets. Planning for month on month revenue growth & Costs Maintenance. Solve for Roadblocks by reviewing and approving proposed solutions Using slack and asana for all communications. Weekly reporting of all duties. 3. KPIs: a. Purchase Price variance b. % of Items ordered thru PO c. Inventory Actual no of days v/s Norms d. Actual Ordered Qty top 60% v/s Plan for the month e. Slow Moving /Non Moving Action plan f. Review of MOQ for pkg g. GST Credit availed h. Ideas for Cost Reduction with the team 4. Job Requirements: Experience with supply chain management. Strong leadership capabilities. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Excellent analytical and problem solving skills. Team player. Alert and attention to detail. Excellent management skills. Goal oriented and driven. Talent in negotiations and networking. Know How to use G-Suite (Google Sheets and Google Doc). 5.
