Process Overview:

The FAKC (Finance and Accounting Knowledge Center) was set up in 2007 as a part of the CFO Global Delivery strategy to provide offshore delivery to Line of Business and Enterprise Finance functions. The capabilities hosted include Legal Entity Control, Regulatory Reporting, Control Governance, Accounts Payable, General Accounting & Reconciliations, Management Reporting & Analysis, Financial Transaction Processing and Finance Systems Support. Over the years, the scope of FAKC has been expanded to include operations for other enterprise control functions like Human Resources and Risk and Compliance.

Job Description:

The - GFC APAC Program Manager- is responsible to lead program governance and oversight for all GFC APAC functions. The position will manages diverse program / project management functions for GFC APAC


The role includes but is not limited to

- Project management and status reporting

- Track action items and key decisions

- Oversee the progress, status, and risks across all APAC GFC functions for end-to-end components

- Coordinate with onshore Project Management Office to ensure accurate reporting of progress, status, and risks

- Prepare presentations / dashboards to facilitate discussions with business stakeholders and senior executives

- Prepare and partner in delivery of governance materials


- Education - CA / CPA or MBA from a premier institute

- Experience - 10+ years of experience in finance, accounting, program management in banking / financial services

Mandatory Skills:

- Excellent working knowledge of MS Office suite of products, especially PowerPoint, Visio & Excel.

- Exposure to emerging technologies is desirable

- Good understanding of system linkages and data flows

- Strong relationship management skills to navigate the complexities of aligning stakeholders, building consensus and resolving conflicts in a large, distributed organization; proven ability to influence peers / stakeholders and other leaders across various lines of business

- Ability to drive strategic initiatives with a track record of successful change and making difficult decisions

- Ability to communicate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner, shaping the opinions and actions of key stakeholders and gaining their trust.

Desired Skills:

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Self-motivated and independent having a control mindset

- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and deliver as well as being able to adapt to changes

- Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline oriented environment

Work Timings: Asia but should be flexible (07:30 to 16:30 IST)
