Senior Manager - Products - AIF / PMS / Mutual Fund

Job Description:

Position: Manager/ Sr. Manager -Products

Minimum Experience: 7 - 8 years

Location: Mumbai

Job Role:

The key areas of responsibilities are as follows:

- Responsible for thorough analysis of our products (equity and fixed income) in order to create sales pitches and other related communications.

- Thorough analysis of MF industry, tracking trends in equity and fixed income markets both domestically and internationally, back testing of different product propositions in order to make new product proposals and suggest alterations in existing products

- Co-ordinating internally for regulatory filing and approvals.

- Product documentation and maintenance of reports.

- Tracking new products in the market and updates on existing competitors' products and proactively identifying the opportunities in both, debt and equity to position/launch products to suit the customer need

- Tracking regulatory changes and assessing their impact on industry and on our products.

- Assessment of new product opportunities arising out of regulatory changes.

- Tracking AUM movement in the industry and reporting any key movements in the market and scheme performance against peers

- Developing product-related communication including the market outlook and adhoc subjects as well as management related matters

- Most effective form in which communication can be shared with distributors and investors.

- Knowledge of Mutual Fund Industry, Equity & Fixed Income Markets

- Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and also preferably macros.

Academics:

- Minimum Qualification: Post Graduation in Finance field, preferably a professional degree like

- MBA Finance (from a reputed institute), CFA or CA
