Position Objective :
Part of the product management team of a product line of the company.
- To identify profitable opportunities that meet market needs, launch products in the market, oversee products already in the market and wind down products that no longer meet market needs
Key Responsibilities :
1) Understands the Market :
- Communicates with customers potential customers
- Co-ordinates usability tests
- Leads drafting, execution and interpretation of surveys
- Keeps an on-going record of compliments & complaints
- Tests / Trials the own product and that of competition regularly
2) Develops Market Based Product Strategies :
- Conduct extensive Research
- Is aware of and understands the competition
3) Bridges Every Department That Touches Product viz.,Sales,Market Communication,Technical, Quality & Design, Customer Service & Operations

- Capture and Prioritizes Ideas & Functions
- Opportunity Assessment
- Immerse in User Insights, Brand Development, Market Requirements / Customer Stories
- Work on Business Case / Investment Justification
- Design Product Requirements
- Build Subject Matter Expertise
- Launch Internal Training
- Explore Market Strategy & External Customer Research
- Prepare Marketing Plan, Sales Collaterals & External Marketing Communication
- Work on Pricing, Sales and Channel Support

Candidate Profile :
- Education : B. Tech + MBA
- Experience: 8-10 years of total experience in Product management or related roles in tyre/OEM companies
- Proven experience in owning and managing products across entire lifecycle
- Superlative in MS office
- Excellent Communication / Interpersonal skills
- Go-getter and result oriented
- Self-starter and team player
