Key Responsibilities

- To develop, analyze & interpret statistical & accounting information in order to appraise operating results in terms of profitability, review in product pricing & also administer financial forecasting & report variances.

- Provide strategic business insights on financial & accounting operating aspects to evaluate business challenges, steering profitability & to meet the desired outcomes with calculated risks.

- Overseeing the operations performance thereby ensuring ownership & accountability on product pricing mechanism, collaborating in strategic business decisions across various production plants & business segments & providing support to cross-functional team.

- Manage end-to-end Production controlling function and assist the General Manager Finance & Controlling in overseeing the performance for all manufacturing plants in India.

- Lead, mentor & monitor entire production controlling team & provide dynamic environment that fosters development opportunities within the team.

KRAs & Specific Roles:

- To establish internal controls in the production sites by designing and implementing robust business process, making it a process driven organization, facilitating better visibility and control over revenue and expenditure.

- To focus & provide expertise on key areas like Product Costing, Standard costing, Price Analysis, Transfer Pricing - understanding the process and derive accurate Product Cost, develop a pricing model & control system derive margin from sales volume, average selling prices, sales mix, as well as the impact from cost of goods, purchase price variances.

- To bring better-cost and budgetary controls in the organization, controlling financial commitments through strict approval process. To conduct financial and cost review meetings, identify measures to control costs and improve profitability.

- Enable & support the Plant operations heads to drive & monitor P&L efficiently & assist in annual planning with close monitoring on the production investment of ROI & cost center management.

- Financial evaluation of new business challenges related to changes in internal and external environment to be aware of the risks and opportunities & enable better-informed decisions resulting in desirable outcomes.

- To prepare & analyze annual planning review mechanism (Latest Estimate / Budget), audit schedule preparation and fixed assets and investment controlling including ROI calculation.

- To lead & empower team members, create succession leadership by providing proper coaching, mentoring, technical assistance & competency development.

- To engage & support internal customers like stakeholders, business head & cross-functional teams on business case analysis, management reporting, international market trends, steering profitability & analyzing pitfalls.

- To undertake special assignments and projects as per business requirement or as required by the CFO and GM Finance & Controlling

Educational Qualification and Experience

Education: Bachelor/ Masters of Commerce and CA / ICWA

Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience out of which 5 years of managerial experience & exposure in Manufacturing Plant. Experience of minimum 2-3 years in Health care/Pharma industry. International Market exposure will be added advantage.
