Senior Manager - Procurement - IT Services (10-19 yrs)

Key objectives of this role :

- Evolve ASIA Procurement category team and organization into a leading-edge organization, based on our global category strategies, which you also contribute to with your excellent category experience

- Boost productivity of our Subcontractor Staffing Centers in ASIA and embed it sustainably into the business environment in order to become a highly recognized strategic partner for revenue generation and contribution margin improvement

- Create Sourcing Strategies for the ASIA region with your team and drive sourcing initiatives, tightly linked to key and senior stakeholders, that will lead to maximized - value for money for the benefit of Capgemini

- Implement global procurement strategies that evolve ASIAs organization into a high-end environment, including proper operating models, processes and tools (e.g. Ivalua global sourcing suit, VMS Fieldglass)

- Develop relationships with key business stakeholders and Strategic Suppliers to improve our contribution to business success

- Strive to industrialization within the ASIA region wherever possible and grow value adding scope tightly linked to business needs

- Extend Procurement category service beyond the existing geographic coverage in ASIA, means e.g. in Japan, Malaysia and others

Key Responsibilities of this role :

- Create a category vision and plan for ASIA, aligned with global strategies leading to a proper and rolling 3 years roadmap and carry it out accordingly

- Enable and develop teams in the ASIA region to achieve category objectives and set up proper organizational category structure and governance, aligned with the regional CPO for ASIA

- Ensure successful delivery of business needs for contractors as well as sourcing initiatives within the ASIA region, with a focus to India as the biggest country

- Conduct business review meetings with key stakeholders to assess risk and review future strategies

- Analyze Market trends to develop innovative methodologies in procurement for the category in ASIA

- Identify areas of improvement to continually drive increase of performance and business results

- Support Global Category SME's to implement and drive global programs designed to ensure better delivery

- Work closely with the Resource Supply Chain, Talent Acquisition teams, the SBUs and actively contribute to the Procurement Transformation initiatives in the region.

Experiences :

- More than 10 years of experience in a leading-edge Procurement organization with extensive experience in sourcing and managing service categories (experience in IT Service industry and with a global footprint preferred)

- Proven track record of developing strategic plans and implementing procurement sourcing strategies

- Strategic thinker addressing the big picture with hand on management skills

- Experience of managing - regional, achieving results through others and developing and motivating staff adequately

- Proven ability to work in a logical and thorough way with ability to pay attention to details.

- Ability to demonstrate innovative solutions and work under time constraints in a fast-moving and international environment

- Outstanding communication and networking skills and able to work effectively as either an individual or as part of a team in a matrix environment

- Highly motivated towards achieving corporate goals (i.e. commercially minded)

- Strong inter-personal skills in order to drive change in a positive manner

- Demonstrates qualities of a leader to collaborate with the team to drive desired results.

- Expert level English oral and writing capabilities
