Senior Manager - Process Engineer - Financial Services Firm (15-20 yrs)

Opening for Senior Manager Process Engineer for an American multinational financial services company


About this role :

1) Manages process improvements for large multi geography, Multiple LOB's, specialized work units with direct impact to organization-wide objectives delivering measurable business benefits to Business units.

2) Trusted & resourceful partner for senior management stakeholders to conceptualize & execute programs to improve the effectiveness, efficiency and experience delivered thro' business processes

3) Ensures effective integration of initiatives with the financial, technological, and process systems used or planned by the business supported. Partners with senior managers to allocate and coordinate resources and determine appropriate staff levels to support engineering initiatives. Develops and delivers effective written and verbal communications

4) Evaluation of team members' work to determine gaps, risks and opportunities in order to prioritize design efforts and achieve maximum efficiency for the company & provides clear and concise direction and training of direct reports and matrixed staff

5) Plan both short and long term operational / business excellence goals, define work objectives and manages conflicting priorities. Provides alignment to OpEx programs to business strategy

6) Lead and provide business process direction as a thought leader for process improvements, MBO, Balanced Scorecards and delivering shareholder value & ensure appropriate application of cultural focus, tools, and/or statistical approach

7) Implementation of the systematic improvement framework for improvements and innovation in specific Business area

8) Lead the delivery of multiple business functions within EGS or Globally for Operational Excellence . Ensure Systematic improvement impact (Define, develop, modify, adapt an approach and frameworks for building systematic improvement capabilities across EGS and Globally ) & drive business awareness of quality/process methodology

9) Help develop frameworks to support changing needs and environment for the business - Automation /TOM / BPM Maturity etc

10) Design , simplify and modernize processes and functions end to end with deep domain understanding on business lines ( WHSL/ WIM/ CAP Markets etc).

11) Leverage high performing and niche teams to lead cross functional transformations/improvements .

12) Champion of change for the business leader / function that he or she supports

13) Applies comprehensive knowledge of Process Engineering tools and methods to mentor matrixed team members on improvement approach, coupling with the appropriate techniques to educate and inform others

14) Provide thought leadership on worldclass service delivery practices and programs within EGS and LOB's

15) Coaches multiple redesign teams in LEAN/Six Sigma process and tools

Required Qualifications and skills International :

- 1) 15+ years experience in operational excellence/process improvement areas in IT/ITES / Financial services industry, 5+ years experience directly managing process improvement initiatives .

2) Experience implementing business process reengineering projects. High level of analytical, diagnostic and problem solving skills. Excellent understanding of tools used in process improvement.

3) Must have good understanding of global trends and practices in Operations Excellence

4) Must be able to demonstrate true results in impacting business outcomes and must be an innovative leader.

5) Must have created and presented business cases to senior management, involving both Strategic and Operational initiatives.

6) Experience in defining and implementing processes. Experience in analyzing, interpreting and using metrics for quantitative project/delivery mgmt.

7) Demonstrated experience in implementing process improvements in operations BU/Org wide.

8) A seasoned, relationship-driven executive who will have the style and sensitivity to work within a highly complex business environment. Multi-cultural sensitivity a must.

9) Prior experience of working as an internal consultant with a Global Banking Financial firm shall be preferred

10) Has led cross functional Company Level niche and critical initiatives / across Multiple LOB's- end to end Customer experience /Automations /Delivery Management /Org Design support/ SWAT etc

11) Capability to develop multiple Improvement / transformation strategies for the organization - Customer experiences / Risk Management/ Digital

12) Mentor teams leading Analytical and Cross Functional Program Management Projects. Commercial Banking Business Process Excellence/ Transformation
