The position profile requires an individual contributor to Handle PPC activities sitting at parent and biggest plant to further manage PPC at 5 plants simultaneously. This role will be coordinating with all the plant managers and sales and marketing team to run the show smoothly. To manage this sort of role we are looking for a strong individual who has the capabilities to deliver his KRA's against all odds. He will be also heading the dispatch and logistics function and should have experience of that as well. Key responsibility: 1. Production planning 2. Production control 3. Dispatch and Logistics 4. Marketing coordination Job Description : - Prepare daily production plan & monitoring production plan execution. - Mind storming with Production People to achieve production targets with minimum resources. - Planning for shift resources along with manpower. - Highlighting under-performing areas to management. - To Handle planning for all production departments and planning for achieving production targets as per schedule. - Coordinating with other departments for achieving targets. - Planning for total material & manpower requirement as per monthly plan. - Releasing schedules to vendors. - Follow up with vendors & transporters for supply, delivery, and negotiations for cost-effectiveness. - Keeping BOMs updated for effective planning. - Identifying slow-moving items so that inventory can be controlled. - Controlling and maintain material follow i.e. FIFO. - Making space/arrangements for production items on the production line. - Monitoring progress of actual production & dispatch against the plan. - Expediting, prioritizing, fast-tracking of projects to meet challenging deadlines. - MRP (material Requirement Planning) Run and analysis net requirement. - Maintain zero shortage for RM & packing material. - Controlling excess supply of material & reducing backlog. - Releasing Production orders and technically completes the orders through SAP. - Material planning and material controlling for Monthly/Weekly/Daily basis and support production line depending on demand. - Creating Daily and monthly schedule plans for In-house Production and Vendor side. - Maintaining and creating management information system reports weekly & monthly tracking reports. - Reduction in production cost by reducing factory overhead expenses. - Coordination with SCM, Engineering, Quality and production for execution of projects in time. - Ordering The Material Based on Lead Time & Customer Sales Projection.
