JOB DESCRIPTION

POSITION TITLE: Senior Manager - Planning

DEPARTMENT : Merchandising

LOCATION: Kolkata

Reporting to: Vice President

A. JOB PURPOSE

This role is responsible for research and development of KPI's projects on enterprise system features. Produce time sensitive information and provide actionable data that will assist managers in planning and managing their respective categories.

JOB DESCRIPTION: SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES / DELIVERABLE'S

- OPERATIONAL : Internal Business Processes

- Research and implementation of Key Performance Indicator Portal/Interface

- Prepare and update reports for the management team and Business units

- Research and analyse actionable data for category managers to enable proactive business decisions

- Implement and analyse data to create daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports

- Communicate and present analytical findings to the management team.

FINANCIAL -

- Maintaining and analysing sales data.

- Maintaining and analysing stock status

- Implement and analyse data to create daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports

CUSTOMER -

- Provide data driven analysis of business processes to improvements in the customer focus, efficiency, accuracy and effectiveness of these processes.

- Keeping good relationship with all concerns.

- Keeping touch base with cross functional people.

PEOPLE -

- Keeping good relationship with vendor.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor's degree/PG in NIFT / Management

SPECIFIC PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS (if any) - SAP

PRIOR WORK EXPERIENCE - 6-8 years in similar kind of role from any organization
