Qualification: MSW or PG (IR) or Degree in Labour Laws
Description:
Industrial Relations :
- Maintain harmonious industrial relations through effective union coordination
- Negotiate with labor unions/ employee representatives on all personnel/ union-related issues such as wage agreements, etc.
- Organising and attending a regular meeting with Labour Unions and give feedback to management
- Ensure effective handling of workmen grievances at all units
- Coordinate and maintain effective communication with Production Head and Unit Personnel Manager for shop floor grievance and discipline management
Personnel & Statutory Compliance :
- Ensure complete and proper compliance under various statues as well as monitoring the maintenance of all registers and records
- Maintain cordial relations with representatives of government agencies like labor commissioners, PF and ESIC inspectors, etc.
- Attend to relevant inspection from time to time
- Administer and comply with all applicable labor laws
Productivity Enhancement :
- Establish skill parameters for all categories of Unionised workers/ trainees/ apprentices
- Analyse productivity based on set standards and implementing corrective actions for improving productivity
Compensation & Benefits :
- Effectively handle all the compensations and benefits function for all units and ensure timely payment of salary and other components
Employee Welfare :
- Organise different employee welfare activities with a view to maintain and to enhance the motivation level of employees
Customer Audits & Statutory Audits :
- Ensure that the HR and Personnel department conforms the requirements of Wal-Mart, ISO, B.E.M. and DTC - BPP
- Review non-conformities, determine the cause and implement corrective actions
