Your Responsibilities: - Plan demand and supply for fast paced growth and multi-layered operations - Build strategies for effective vendor development & management - Maintain benchmarks: ensuring adherence of vendors to the agreed upon metrics & cost - Develop strategic plans to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations - Create supply chain management strategies that increase efficiency, speed and cost - Provide operational support and guidance to ensure maximum productivity - Collaborate with other departments to identify vulnerabilities and close operational gaps - Lead strategies, communications and negotiations with external suppliers - Manage large supply operations team at different level in multiple geographies in India - Lead the team-ensure the KRAs of the team members are met and assist / train them in achieving the same - Own procurement plan/projections- Vendor alignment, volume projections, seasonality. Control input costcap on retail, contribute towards long term price lock Apply if: - You have an Engineering / Management background from a premium school - You are entrepreneurial and result oriented and you have a strong sense of urgency & ownership - You are highly customer focused and have strong problem solving, prioritisation skills with an eye for detail - You have a strong understanding of logistics and its application to solve business needs - You have large E-commerce logistics experience, additionally, if you have startup experience, that's great - You are enthusiastic about learning and working with new tools and technologies autonomously - You are a strong team player with strong verbal & written communication skills - You are a leader and you would love to hire manage and groom your team - You enjoy working under a high-pressure, dynamic, fast paced environment - Coming up with lots of ideas and improvements on existing operations is your cup of tea - You have the ability to think deeply through difficult situations
