The position is with Bank and they are looking for Operational Risk Manager - Retail Liabilities and Third Party Product

Role and Responsibilities

Operational Risk Manager shall be responsible for implementing various Operational Risk Management components in the Bank and monitors the risk profile. The incumbent will support / lead various initiatives in implementing a robust Operational Risk Management framework in Retail Liabilities and Third Party Products & associated business groups of the Bank.

Relevant Experience :

- Minimum 4-5 years in Retail Liabilities and Third Party Products including CASA, Term deposits, payment products, third party products including mutual funds, insurance etc.

- The emphasis shall be on expertise in identification of retail liabilities and third party products related risks and their mitigation measures.

Primary responsibilities:

- Thorough understanding of Retail Banking and Third Party Products including CASA, Term deposits, payment products, third party products including mutual funds, insurance.

- Knowledge of processes related to Branch Banking, centralised operations, contact centre, digital payment channels, ATMs, etc.

- Knowledge of Risk and Control self-assessment approach, conducting risk assessment workshops, identifying Key Risk Indicators (KRIs)

- Carrying out root cause analysis of Operational Risk Events, risk assessment and development of mitigation plans

- Develop dashboards/heat map for units relating to Retail liabilities and third party products and publish it to senior management

- Assist in conducting Operational Risk Management Committee (ORMC) meetings

- Conduct scenario analysis

- Develop relationship with 1st line of defense (business heads) and assist in risk mitigation plans

Requirements :

- Deep understanding of Retail liabilities and third party products and processes as well as business, regulatory environment in respect of these products

- Orientation for Risk Management

- Excellent written and communication skills

- Proficiency in MS Office products (PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)

Qualifications :

- CA/MBA (from good business school) / Qualification in Finance or Commerce
