Senior Manager - Merchandising - Gold Jewelry

Job Description

- To help GM Merchandising achieve the Targeted Sales Through % through effective and timely buying.

- To achieve the highest level of efficiency in Procurement and achieve the Margin targets set by the Management.

- To assist the entire Merchandise and Purchase functions to achieve the targets set by the Management.

- To review the Stocks in detail to achieve highest level of efficiency in Inventory Management.

- To assist in achieving the targeted Sales Vs. Purchase Ratio to support the Business Objectives of the Management.

- To strictly prevent 'Stock Out' situation of core items in any Store at any time.

- To coordinate with Sales & Operations Department to jointly finalize the Merchandise Plan for new stores and also for any Season requirement.

- To effectively rotate stocks between Stores to achieve good reduction of Unsold Aged stocks.

- To review from time to time the Comprehensive Inventory Policy of the Company and recommend modifications for improvement of efficiency.

Desirable Candidate

- Must have exposure in Merchandise Planning and Jewellery Buying

- Experienced in Gold & Diamond Jewellery Merchandise Planning, Procurement and Inventory management.

- Must be capable of managing professional merchandising practices, including close monitoring of MIN MAX, Stock Outs, managing Open to Buy, New designs introduction, etc.

- Must be a strong team player

- Should have excellent computer skills

- Very good inter-personal, negotiation and commercials skills.

- Very good communication skills
