- Executing on the below deliverables at a managerial level, demonstrating Subject Matter Expert status:

- People management: Function as people manager for the MedComm D&O team with overall responsibility for performance

- MedComm activities: Responsible for delivery of timely, accurate and credible scientific medical guidance across medical affairs focus areas towards internal and external stakeholders

- Collaboration across GMAD (DK), GSC and NNI

- Managing 1 people manager (Team lead for Global Scientific advisors).

People management:

- Set direction, develop skills set, coach and guide the MedComm D&O team (direct reportees and 1st line manager)

- Plan deliverable and agree on deliverables for MedComm D&O team

- Resource planning and prioritisation of department tasks, to ensure optimal and flexible use of resources, and monitoring and reporting of department performance

- Set targets for the team and follow up on deliverables; delegates responsibilities and assignments

- Manage process for performance management and individual development plans

- Drive continual improvement, contribute to setting direction for GMA-BLR and ensure that the business targets for the department are met

- Drive development of the team and individuals by seizing and creating opportunities related to actual business needs

- Proactively and openly ensure alignment of business needs and support cross-area projects across GMA

- Implements GMA-BLR strategic plans and inspires and motivates the team to execute in accordance to the strategy

MedComm activities:

- Ensure success of GMA MedComm D&O by overseeing timely delivery of agreed tasks

- Support team members with planning and execution of tasks when relevant

- Support with training and onboarding of new employees

- Optimises processes and improves outcomes

- Develops a comprehensive risk grid and identifies mitigation actions with relevant project members

- Ensures completion of projects, organisational impact and identifies next steps

- Shares results and learnings with relevant stakeholders, from opinion leaders to senior management to affiliates

- >10 products across diabetes and obesity are being handled by the team and involved in executing global medical affairs strategies across these products. The impact is mainly at operational, tactical and strategic level for global medical affairs as well as NN USA medical affairs organisations
