Job description :

Looking for Manager in the Finance department to handle all tax related functions with 5-10 years of relevant experience.

- Partnering with business closely and regularly to ensure that taxation practices are best in class and management is availing of all opportunities in the market

- Update & keep updated the Senior Management on the latest Direct & Indirect taxation rules and its impact on the functional operations and provide critical inputs to them for decision making

- Benchmarking against industry preferred practice to identify new ways of helping to reduce indirect tax costs and capturing permanent cash flow benefits

- Coordinating and managing the entire direct & indirect tax returns filing for the organization

- Managing timely tax compliance, handling auditors, appeals and scrutiny

- Directing the finance team on the computation of tax related entries for the purposes of reporting accurate financial statements

- Representing the organisation in income tax litigation up to the ITAT level

Candidate profile:

- CA with 5 to 10 years of relevant experience (post qualification)

- Experience of working for BFSI industry

- Must have experience in GST

- Sustains a high level of drive, shows enthusiasm and a positive attitude when coping with pressure at work

- Ability to refer to and interpret case law and other reference material

- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels - business, regulator, consultants, auditor and internal

- The ability to be proactive, identify issues and take early responsibility
