Senior Manager/Manager - Strategic Sourcing - Electrical Components (7-12 yrs)

Role - Sr.Manager / Manager - Strategic Sourcing ( Electrical Components)

Location - Bangalore

Responsibilities :

- Develop and identify cost reduction opportunities for Electrical components by working very closely with the Engineering and CTO organization.

- Drive sourcing strategies along with commodity managers to ensure flexibility, supply assurance, technology leadership and lowest total cost

- Partner with engineering on identifying new sources of supply and selection for new products during the development phase

- Plan and monitor specific commodities through the early stage of NPI process through volume production.

- Drive the consolidation of the current supply chain including a preferred supplier list to reduce cycle time and cost with improved quality & reliability

- Monitor market conditions and future technology roadmaps, communicate them to engineering teams to mitigate supply and cost risks.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is a must. Master's degree or equivalent hardware design engineering experience is preferred.

- Knowledge of electrical components such as Transformers, Relays, Breakers, Cables & Harness and Passives is required to be successful in this role.

- Must have clear understanding of cost vectors of Electrical components.

- Relationship with Tier1 Electrical suppliers is good to have but not mandatory.

- Computer proficiency and basic Hardware CAD knowledge is ideal.

- Ability to work and interact with multiple departments throughout the organization.

- Must have analytical problem solving capability and be detail oriented
