Company Profile: A Leading Small Finance Bank.
I. ROLE PURPOSE & OBJECTIVE
1. As a Senior/Manager Product -Government Schemes, S/he will be responsible for managing all Financial Inclusion Programs/Government schemes applicable to Micro Banking & Rural Banking.
2. Development of Product/Process in-line with the guidelines issued by Govt. Authorities.
3. S/he will work closely with business, compliance, IT, Risk and credit team to ensure timely implementation of scheme and rollout in the field.
4. Co-ordination with respective government organizations in order to communicate requisite scheme details and obtain clarifications on process.
II. KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE
Business/ Financials (Only Relevant roles)
- Development of new products/Process various schemes launched under government programs like - Standup India, DAY-NULM/NRLM, ECLGS/other Government Guarantee schemes or any other Government Program relevant for the Bank
- Scheme related data submission to respective government authorities like PMMY (Shishu, Kishore and Tarun), SIDBI, CGTMSE (PMSVANIdhi) etc.
- Co-ordination with IT-MIS team for receiving scheme related data.
- Managing PSL compliance for Micro banking
- Providing government scheme related data to internal control functions as and when requested.
- Co-ordination with External authorities for timely data submission, Error-free scheme implementation and change/update in case of any revision in the existing scheme/Process.
Customer (Both Internal & External)
- Co-ordination with NGO/Business Correspondent wherever required, in order to implement schemes through external channels.
- Train field staff and other key stakeholders about new Government schemes and process rollout.
- IEC material development for internal and external communication.
Internal Process
- To develop and implement a company-wide rollout plan, working with all departments.
- Ensure approvals of Process/Project/Product from relevant stakeholders/HODs.
- To organize Scheme product/Process trainings for launch, expansion and capacity building
- Ensure policy and process adherence in the regions by regular training and feedback.
Innovation & Learning
- Maintain up to date knowledge of relevant schemes/product as well as understanding of other MB & RB products.
- Ensure adherence to training man-days/ mandatory training programs.
- Ensure goal setting, mid-year review and performance appraisal processes are completed within specified timelines.
- Liaise with training team to ensure adequate product training in the region.
Candidate Requirement
- Knowledge of the government schemes
- Understanding of bank's role in scheme/project/process implementation.
- Exposure of communication with external government authorities/agencies.
- Good Understanding of Product/Process development in-line with the guidelines issued by Govt. authorities.
- Prompt knowledge of preparing PPT, Excel and Note preparation.
- Communication Skills - fluent in the local language & can basic Proficiency in English
