About our client: Our client is a leading NBFC.

Service Line: FIG (Financial Institution Group) - This team focuses on financing needs of NBFCs, Fintechs, MFIs etc. They offer customized financing solutions on Debt and Equity keeping the client requirements at first. Offering includes Term Loans/MLDs/NCDs/PTCs on the debt side and working with our client partners on private placements of their capital raise.

Designation: Senior Manager / Manager

Responsibilities:

- Responsible for all legal matters for FIFG Team

- Drafting & vetting of all Legal Documents encompassing business activities for NBFC & Fis including Loans, NCD, MLD, PTC, DA, Co-Lending, etc.

- To provide Legal advice on all legal matters

- Monitor perfection of all security documents for every transaction

- Would be working closely with the RM and Risk team on deals and analysing documents from legal stand point.

- Litigation: Handle litigation directly & through external counsels

Requirement:

- Good understanding and hands on experience of lending and borrowing transactions including but not limited to Loans, NCD, MLD, PTC, DA, Co-Lending, etc

- Knowledge of Company laws, Contract Law and Partnership, SEBI regulations, RBI & Foreign Exchange regulations (FEMA), Creation and perfection of security, etc

- Strong Negotiation skills

- Thorough knowledge of prevailing laws in the Country related to Civil / Criminal. Ability to draft, Pleading, Conveyancing & attend proceedings.

- Practical knowledge of IBC workings
