Senior Manager/Manager/General Manager - Procurement - Ceramics/Sanitary ware

Role Objective : 

This position will be in charge of the entire plant procurement process and activities, and ensure qualified and on-time supply of direct/indirect materials with high cost effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities / Duties & Responsibilities :

- Lead procurement department operationally, administratively and ensure adherence to Regional supply chain guideline and process

- Develop and implement purchasing policies & process and contract management instructions

- Responsible for planning, developing and purchasing direct materials (raw materials, components, packaging, etc.) and indirect materials (consumable, equipment, etc.) in a timely and cost effective way

- Ensure cost control and adequate reporting for analysis of standard cost, cost saving, inflation and material spending, etc.

- Vendor selection, evaluation and management per business needs

- Contract negotiation in terms of price, lead time, payment term, etc.

- PO implementation (PO placement, on-time delivery follow up, payment, etc.)

- Anticipating un-favorable events through data analysis; prepare control strategies

- Efficient management of inventories and drive lead time reduction projects like JIT.

Job Specifications :

Knowledge + skills + abilities + behaviors required for the job

- Bachelor degree or above with majored in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management;

- Minimal 10 years- experience in procurement/sourcing management, preferably in manufacturing industry;

- Good communication and interpersonal skillsin English and local language;

- Good analytical abilities to assess the performance of suppliers against criteria such as quality, cost, reliability and financial stability;

- Strong sense of responsibility, self-motivated and proactive working attitude;

- Work with patience and independence;

- Integrity, trust;

- Strong negotiation skills;

- Good command of office software such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
