Consumer Insights Manager (Qualitative Research) - Internet E-commerce - Bangalore ABOUT THE ROLE : The Consumer Insights Manager will lead the Insights function for Foresight and Hindsight, so as to be on top of today's and tomorrow's consumer behaviour, motivations, needs, barriers, and challenges. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES : - Anticipate market changes and trends, envision how these advances will bring about new opportunities and/or challenges and translate these insights into initiatives to advance the business and consumer goals, marketing strategy, and execution plans. - Serve as the voice of the customer - across all functions including marketing, product, category, customer experience, design, etc. - Identify various customer segments, develop insights and help the organisation plan various marketing efforts across each of these segments. - Analyse market share challenges and competitive threats; evaluate tactical plans to counter the competitive threat. - Translate consumer insights into value propositions for communication and test the ad's effectiveness based on consumer responses, feedback, and behaviour. - Conduct periodic brand track studies to ascertain the awareness, perception, and health of the brand vis-a-vis competition. Key Area Required:- Exp in Qualitative Research, Primary and Secondary Research, Consumer behaviour,Customer research DESIRED CANDIDATE : - 5+ years of experience in consumer research and planning - Experience in handling qualitative and quantitative data and analysis, understanding business strategy and delivering insights. - Proven track record in understanding consumer insights and developing business strategy. - Ability to drive change and challenge the status quo. - Experience in leading and driving multiple complex projects spanning different businesses and disciplines with a sharp customer focus.
