Sr Manager / Manager - Beverages - MNC in the Food Space Roles and Responsibilities: Category Management: - Responsible for the overall beverage category in terms of product development, profitability, sales contribution and consumer understanding - Incorporate the global beverage portfolio suitably in the Indian market basis need states and consumer palette - To conceptualize new product development in the beverage portfolio, lead innovation in the space - Ensure product level and category profitability through pricing architecture - Regular sales monitoring, analysis on a weekly basis by SKU, sub category and overall portfolio - Develop AOP for the category and deliver key business objectives Consumer Understanding: - Closely monitor consumer trends in the beverage and RTD/E categories - Regular competition benchmarking of product and prices - Identify need gaps and opportunities - Identify regional opportunities - Pricing - Responsible for the Pricing architecture of the category and overall profitability - Benchmark competition on pricing - Deliver product and portfolio level profitability by working closely with Supply Chain Product Development: - Closely work with the QA & R&D team to ensure product development. - Coordinate with Regional category, supply chain, sourcing and operations team to ensure on time launch. Communication: - Brief the brand team on all product led communication Support with shoots and review key product materials - Training Develop product recipes and BOMs - Support operations on best practices for product Required knowledge, skills and abilities: - 5-7 years prior experience in category/product management, new product development, especially the candidate should be strong in the areas of product development - Strong analytical skills w.r.t. sales analysis, forecasting, profitability analysis - Should be able to handle P&L for brands/ product - Should have exposure in sensory analysis and should be able to derive sensory feedbacks to product requirement. - Must be able to collaborate cross functionally, and be a strong team player.
