Senior Manager - Management Reporting - Business Conglomerate - CA

Our client is one of the leading business conglomerates, head quartered in Chennai, looking to hire Senior Manager - Management Reporting, responsible for closely working with the Group Head and Group CFO on the reporting matters which includes Group Consolidation, IFRS, Account Standards related matters, Group cash flow monitoring and management, Group Wide taxation matters, Group's equity, investments related decision making, monitoring of non operating assets.

Key Responsibilities :

- Support in interpretation and compliance with Ind AS / IFRS requirements; Research on laws (Companies Act, Income Tax Act, GST Act, etc.), codes (IFRS, Ind-AS, Guidance Notes, Auditing Standards, etc.), regulations (IRDA regulations, RBI guidelines, PIT regulations, SEBI regulations, etc.), rules and policies applicable to areas of responsibility related with financial reporting and general internal and external compliance

- Consolidate and monitor open tax issues / litigations / queries across all Group Companies

- Support in Enterprise Valuation; Coordinate with relevant stakeholders (businesses, consultants, etc.)

- Long term Group cash flow monitoring / management

- Conducting research and assembling and summarizing information from a variety of sources for special projects and report

- Consolidate information from internal stakeholders, prepare presentations for management meetings

- Prepare management reports on periodic basis, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance (Hyperion & Power BI experience is a strong advantage)

- Prepare periodic operating expense variance analysis, to assist in providing expense overrun/underrun forecasts

- Perform other ad-hoc duties assigned by supervisor in order to meet operational and/or other business requirements

Desired Profile :

Education: Chartered Accountant + Experience in taxation, Company Law matters

Additional qualification - CS will be an advantage

Work Experience : 7-10 years of work experience

Knowledge - Good knowledge of Indian Accounting standards (Ind AS) and basic knowledge of IFRS in general.

- Experience in Corporate Finance matters

- Good knowledge of taxation (both Direct & Indirect)

- Sound business understanding of Financial Consolidations and Reporting, as well as (Financial Planning & Analysis) Activities for Periodic Forecasts / Annual Budget.

- Working knowledge of Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) or other Oracle Financial Reporting Tools, FDMEE, ETL tool, etc. will be an added advantage
