Job Description :
- Manage the overall logistics function in terms of designing and developing the logistics strategy for a new age business. Work with the function heads and senior management to share solutions for unresolved problems and also oversee service levels.

Description :
- Develop the logistics strategy for the organisation
- Lead the pricing strategies & negotiations of price along with Service level with existing and new vendors
- Direct, coordinate, monitor & review the works of individuals associated with logistics operations
- Knowledge of handling 3PL
- Address activities in operations and transportation besides strategic planning
- Hiring, training & performance evaluation of the team members
Profile :
- The ideal candidate will have minimum 7+ years of relevant experience in the logistics space with key focus on route planning/optimisation besides operations (reverse & forward logistics).
- The person must also be able to manage 3PL partners including on-boarding of new partners. Rich knowledge of freight management & policies with respect to road permits is highly desirable.
- The candidate should be proactive with sound problem solving skills and hands-on approach, and knowledge of India transportation environment. Candidates from E-Commerce / Courier industry will be preferred.
