The role requires rigorous management of end-to-end Linhaul &amp; Fleet operations pertaining to order processing and driving proactive engagement with the 3PL service providers &amp; different teams of organizations to drive positive customer service quality. Role Responsibilities: - Map out the 3PL strategy and execute the delivery plan to meet all Business KPIs - End-to-end responsibility of managing Logistics Service Providers (both local transporters as well as organized 3PL players), including identification, acquisition, commercial terms negotiation &amp; closure, engagement &amp; day-to-day execution - Oversee the Shipping and Logistics team and to provide mentorship, identify gaps and plan the team's development - Track and report operations volume (and productivity), customer service level and all aspects of shipping and logistics cost - Ensure smooth transportation and operational planning of all shipment - Continuous improvements on Shipping, transportation and Logistics processes and operations - Minimum 4 years of experience in Logistics management including negotiating &amp; closing of contracts &amp; commercials with Logistics Service Providers. E-Commerce sector experience shall be preferred - Understanding of overall Line haul network and working of 3PL's - Knowledge of 3PL contracts, Route/ Network planning, Linehaul &amp; Fleet Management - Strong communication skills including verbal, written, presentation and active listening and group facilitation - Strong project management and freight negotiation skills - Attention to detail and analytical skills - Graduation from a Tier 1/Tier 2 college - Post-Graduation from a Tier 1/Tier 2 college
