Senior Manager - Legal - Retail (8-12 yrs)
- Transactional support to business by timely preparation, negotiation & execution of high quality and low risk LLAs and contracts
- Draft & vet commercial documents, lease deeds, leave & license agreements, sale deeds; Prepare standard agreement & other document templates
- Legal advisory support to business in handling operational & compliance issues
- Identify, anticipate & mitigate legal risk for the center
- Drive legal negotiations personally with key clients
- Represent the Company before various regulatory authorities/Courts of law
- Give litigation support to HO and team (10%)
- Maintain set quality standards, adhere to internal control systems (legal audit)
- Work closely with Contractors/vendors, Brands (Retail/Commercial Tenants), External Legal Counsel, Statutory/ Regulatory agencies etc
- Expert knowledge of Indian Contract Act, Transfer of Property Act, Rent Control Act, real estate laws like MOFA, RERA; litigation & procedural law
- Work closely with high end counsel and law firms
- Top drafting & negotiating skills with flair for finding innovative solutions to break deadlocks with key tenants/customers
- Manage stakeholders, excellent communication & drafting skills, with common sense
