Legal Counsel Real Estate has overall responsibility to manage all legal matters pertaining to the Real Estate portfolio of the organisation.  - To effectively manage all legal matters pertaining to the Real Estate portfolio of the organisation.   - Review the capabilities of external counsels and seek to rationalize in order to ensure high quality advice in a cost-effective manner.   - Support the Senior Counsel in completing the projects linked to Real Estate. Instill confidence in top management by delivering pragmatic and proportionate legal advice.  - To be responsible for external law firm relationship management.   - To work closely with India Litigation counsel/s to support the management of land disputes and litigation matters pertaining to company's immovable properties.   Qualifications and Experience:  - 7+ years Post Qualification Experience (PQE) Indian qualified or other common law jurisdiction. (Professional firm or Real Estate Company).   - High level of professionalism, integrity and commitment.   - Ability to methodically and systematically review property documents and organize the same in a standardized format.   - Good drafting skills.   - Assertiveness.   - Experience in business partnering to senior executives demonstrating the ability and desire to build high performing relationships, provide pro-active, pragmatic advice in furtherance of the business agenda.   - Knowledge of international anti-bribery legislation (US and UK)   - Ability to work with various departments across the company and co-ordinate activities pertaining to property transactions   - Clear thinking in analysing, identifying and resolving legal issues   - Previous experience in effectively and efficiently managing legal budgets (especially external counsel spend).
