Sr. Legal Manager


We are looking for a Sr. Legal Manager who would anticipate and manage legal risks connected with or resulting from the business strategy and operations. A talented and highly motivated person who could support our rapidly growing and evolving businesses will be an ideal candidate.

This role will be reporting to : India - Head

Location : Mumbai

Responsibilities :

- Create an organizational approach towards legal matters

- Advising on general business law issues and managing the legal issues of all areas of the company, including but not limited to corporate matters, procurement, safety, security, insurance and sustainability issues

- Drafting and vetting of routine contracts pertaining to license, non-disclosure agreements, intellectual property rights etc., vetting tender documents, handling arbitration matters and civil suits before various courts of law should any arise and co-ordination with the panel of lawyers

- Should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with broad, generalist responsibilities, but with specialist legal subject skills in commercial law and regulatory matters.

- Responsible for counselling the business operations, by giving pro-active, professional, competent, (cost) effective and creative legal support.

- Prepare future and current strategies to ensure proper implementation.

- To ensure that organizational legal matters are managed properly, efficiently and that the relevant and respective stakeholders are shared and given proper advice and guidance.

- Liaison with relevant Government offices and other competent authorities if necessary

- Execute necessary precautions and measures with a specific end goal to shield the organization from any legal risks.

Desired Profile :

- Bachelor's degree / master's in law (LLB/LLM), with at least 8+ years of relevant work experience in corporate law or Government Business

- Litigation skills to handle administrative procedures within public authorities

- Able to negotiate and draft exceptionally and should have business sense to deal with multiple functional teams in a rapidly scaling business.

- Provide extreme confidentiality in all company-related issues.
